Two Utah men sue the New York City Marathon
The AP reported two Utah men are suing organizers of the New York City Marathon over the lottery system used to pick runners. Their lawsuit claims the lottery system used to select runners for the race violates state law. The suit claims only the State of New York can organize and administer a lottery. In response, the New York Road Runners club, who organizes the marathon, claim the entry process is compliant with New York law.
